ZILIA Zilia is Corsican Natural Spring Mountain Water Zilia water has a low mineral content and is highly digestible, making it ideal for the preparation of infant formula. It contains all the minerals and trace elements that babies require. Zilia is also highly recommended for individuals who consume large quantities of water, such as athletes, golfers, cyclists, etc. Its neutral taste is a real thirst-quencher that helps eliminate toxins from the body naturally. The spring of Zilia is born on the summit of Mount Montegrosso, approximately 6300 feet (1941 Meter) in the Corsican Highlands within the region of Balagne. From these granitic mountains far from the pollution on the "Island of Beauty" a crystalline water is born with an exceptional purity. This water is collected at a depth of 260 feet (80 meters) from granite rock on the slopes of the mountain. It commenced as a small subterranean stream after a very slow infiltration. There is no effect whatsoever from storms or droughts with regards to its spring. Quality remains remarkably constant. These factors have allowed Zilia to attain the label "FOOD PRODUCT OF THE MOUNTAINS" which is covered by very strict criteria. Environmental factors and physico-chemical composition and microbiological quality are controlled daily on bacteria counts. The bottling and handling plant is completely automated. Bottles are rinsed using water from the spring and then capped without any human intervention. The bottling plant is classified in Europe as a <White Room>, which signifies that it is sterile and under light atmospheric pressure which protects the water from any external pollution. The factory is equipped with a laboratory that monitors the quality of the water every two hours guaranteeing total safety for the consumer. |
